This multimedia exhibition showcased the history of the Latvian banknote, its designers and their creative output. The exhibition’s elements were positioned throughout the space reflecting the crystalline grid of graphite, thus symbolising the artist’s main work tool – the pencil – and its central axis – graphite.

Modified in terms of content, the exhibition “Lsx20” was recreated in expanded form in “Banknote Design. PIN Code”, where the design for euro banknotes was included alongside those of the lats.

The exhibitions were accompanied by a book, “Lsx20. Art Years of the National Currency.” The cover design for the publication symbolises a pristine white banker’s shirt and the bronze material of the santīms coin, while the graphic rhythm of the book’s inner pages is set by black-and-white portraits of coin designers, colour work reproductions and the authors’ texts.
