Hungarian Museum of Transport
The exhibition design concept as an integral part of architectural proposal was awarded with the 3rd prize in the international contest for Hungarian Museum of Transport, in collaboration with architects from Építész Stúdió (www.epstudio.hu). The main concept is based on network structure that stems from intersecting systems. This framework is used in the architecture by intertwining the historical buildings with the new construction as well as in the exposition designby structuring the timeflow from the past to the future.
Commentary from the jury: “One of the greatest virtues of the plan is the thorough elaboration of visitor experience and accessibility of the exhibition, consequently it provides many good solutions for the string of experiences. The family-friendly character is very strong, the plan attracts visitors on many levels.”
