A virtual journey in time and space along the legendary Bānītis railway line from Alūksne to Gulbene offers you an insight into the importance of local industrial heritage in a European context. The exhibition generates associations with being present in a moving railcar, in which we can see the passing landscape on screens integrated into windows and hear the memories of local people about the Bānītis and stations along the railway line. In turn, 3D virtual reality places you inside the train driver’s cab and gives you an insight into the railway’s technical functions.
